Hi, My husband is 74 diabetic and hypertension, his x ray report is:
Accentuated bronchovascular markings
Veiling of right lower lung zone
Obliteration of right costophrenic angle
Diffuse bromciectatic changes over right lung base
Atheromatous plaque seen in aortic knuckle
Relative increase in cardiac silouhette
Please tell me what it means
Right now he is unable to sleep well at night and is coughing.

Hello
Accentuated broncho-vascular markings with obliteration of right CP angle may be due to early heart failure.It is important to assess clinically and further investigations like ECHO.
Respiratory problem may be aggravated due to bonchiectatic changes in right lower zone of lung.
He may need propped up position in bed and few medicines.
Increased heart size may be due to chronic hypertension,heart failure etc.
Your husband need proper evaluation by a cardiologist.
